Perhaps one of the most ambitious bands in Seattle, The Classic Crime is not content having toured with MxPx and selling out concerts all over the country.This indie rock band has been impressing fans all over the country with their intensely emotional vocals, addictive guitar lines and mesmerizing live show.And as we sat down to talk, lead vocalist Matt MacDonald and guitarists Justin DuQue and Robbie Negrin couldn't help but send continuous text messages and take a few important phone calls.But you can't blame them.We don't let anything affect us onstage."Classic Crime has come a long way since they first got together in 2002.Later, they added Negrin as a second guitarist and the band's fifth member.With a lineup set, Orizon played shows at the Apple Blossom Festival in Wenatchee and venues like Club Adrian and Club Impact in Tacoma.The major labels were not impressed.Fortunately, Seattle indie label Tooth and Nail records was.Orizon changed their name to The Classic Crime."We've always felt like underdogs with passion, and Tooth and Nail seemed the same.Comments
