it stops one from evil and makes one a better person, ones worldly and spiritually problems are solved.There are different methods of doing Zikr such as Zikr Jahri (loud Zikr) and Zikr Khafi (silent Zikr) both are very powerful the tariqat Naqshbandi are famous for the silent Zikr while the Qadri tariqat are famous for loud Zikr which ever Zikr one chooses one will get close to Allah.The Qalandar Tariqat do both Zikr and are able to do all practices and wazeefa of any tariqat the reason being is that the Qalandar Tariqat are free from all shackles and are able to take secrets and knowledge from all tariqats.The number of recitations should be exact and one should not recite like a fast train but one should recite with respect and awe.It is beneficial to do Zikr in the morning or at night because at these times one is able to concentrate more and one is more receptive to spiritual waves
For Zikr Khafi it is better if one is alone in a quiet clean room, the room should be dark and there should be no annoying noises in the vicinity, One should sit in Prayer position and have ones eyes closed and mouth the tongue should be pressed against ones upper palate and teeth firmly joined shut.One should then strike the Zikr in ones heart
Different types of Zikr.For ones Prayer Supplication to be accepted one must remember these things below
1.Before supplicating one should do something good, like giving in charity, helping someone out, pray after Salaat prayer.Before supplicating do 2 rakaats of Salaat hajaat
5.When Supplicating sit in Tashadud , In prayer form
6.First pray for oneself then ones parents and mankind
14.Never pray for bad or for curse
16.When doing prayer always ask for your wish more then once, three times
