The Enemy will be making their way up north later this...Last night The Enemy picked up the Best New Band Award at the NME Shock Waves 2008.Klaxons (2007) and Arctic Monkeys (2006), the awards are another massive milestone for the band and every step of the way are YOU the hardcore fans who sustain The Enemy like no other.The Enemy are a British rock band, signed to Warner Music Group (UK).In June 2007, The Enemy played twice at Glastonbury Festival, played the 'Guardian lounge' on Saturday and the much larger 'Other Stage' on Sunday.On July 16, 2007 the band's debut album: We'll Live and Die in These Towns went straight to Number 1 in the UK Albums chart on release.History
The Enemy met their original manager John Dawkins under the Coventry City crest of the Ricoh Arena after a game between Coventry and Celtic for the Richard Shaw Testimonial.In 2006 the band were the opening act at Coventry's Godiva Festival, and again played the event in July 2007 as second headliners beneath the Super Furry Animals the weekend before the release of their debut album.They first gained acclaim when they were mentioned in NME as the act most likely to "break your windows" for 2007.They supported The Fratellis, Kasabian, Ash and Manic Street Preachers on their UK tours.Their single, "Away From Here" entered the charts at number 8.Their single, "Had Enough" entered the charts at number 5
Building on their rapid success, The Enemy collaborated with NME on the 2007 Rock 'N' Roll Riot Tour, during September and October 2007.In August 2007 The Enemy supported The Rolling Stones on the last date of their European tour at the O2 Arena in London.In September 2007 The Enemy played the Jersey Live Festival along with The Fratellis and The Twang.In October 2007, they won best new act at the Q Awards, and gave the award to a young boy who had been crushed at the front of their gig in Manchester.In January 2008, The Enemy won the XFM award "Best British Debut Album Of 2007" with "We'll Live And Die In These Towns", the Xfm New Music Awards were held at Camden's KOKO venue.XFM Controversy

In the year 5000, when man is spreading himself across the solar system, a shuttle crew on their way to Titan encounters a cloud in space that infects them with an intelligent virus.When the Doctor answers the distress call, he is infected as well.As the virus spreads, the only way to stop it is may be to enter the Doctor's body and fight the nucleus directly.Plot
Mankind is colonizing space at a fantastic rate.He and Leela hear the distress call and go to investigate.The Nucleus declares her a reject and orders that she be killed.The Doctor manages to break free of his infection and tells Leela how to get the TARDIS to the nearest medical center.They create clones of themselves, which can only survive for ten minutes due to problems with the technique.The clones will then be shrunk and inserted into the Doctor.There they will destroy the Nucleus and escape through the tear duct.He has no weapons with which to destroy it, and it learns the intended escape route of the Doctor's clone, since the Doctor thought of it.Marius faithfully retrieves something from the tear duct and expands it to human size.The Nucleus and the infected staff leave for Titan Base so the Nucleus can spawn.Continuity
